It was an abrupt change in weather for much of the country last week. Meteorologist Mike Hoffman even calling it more impressive than he thought, with Denver dropping 50 degrees in 7 hours. 

With crops still trying to ripen in the field, Mike Hoffman says the forecast doesn't look good for the northern tier of states over the next month. 

However, dry conditions could mean good harvest weather looks good to start the week.
