Web seminar to focus on USDA market news

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is offering a March web seminar on the Specialty Crop Market News reports from the Agricultural Marketing Service.

The seminar will focus on the AMS's national retail report and how it can be used by all sectors of the produce industry, according to a news release.

Registration for the free event, 2-3 p.m. Eastern on March 9, is available online.

The event, hosted by Melissa Reeves, national retail manager for USDA's Specialty Crop Market News and Kim Mercer, assistant to the director for Specialty Crop Market News, will cover:
  • Tracking trends over time;
  • Illuminating retail patterns;
  • Looking through the window at competition; and a
  • Question-and-answer session.
