The United Fresh Produce Association is conducting its biennial compensation survey of the produce industry. Data collected will be published in an a research report
The survey collects data about compensation and benefits of more than 30 full-time positions, including sales and marketing, production and operations, quality control and assurance, administration, finance and accounting, and executives. The survey will only track U.S. and Canadian-based employers, including grower-shippers, brokers, wholesaler-distributors, imports, exporters and fresh-cut processors.
"We encourage all eligible produce companies to participate in this year's survey," said Jason Pounds, finance and business management council chairman for United Fresh, in a news release. "The more data we have, the more robust and valuable this report will be in providing industry employees with reliable metrics to ensure they are offering competitive compensation."
There is no cost to participate in the survey, and those who participate will be able to purchase the report at a discount. The final report will be available in June at the United Fresh convention in Chicago.
The survey is available at www.unitedfreshsurvey.com until April 21.
