Rural Broadband: The Need for Speed

Farm Sense: The Need for Speed

According to the latest statistics from the Federal Communications Commission, 34 million people in the U.S. still don't have broadband internet access which is defined as having download speeds of 25 megabits per second. 40 percent of those people live in rural America.

AgDay TV host Clinton Griffiths explains that while the reason is population density, the lack of access is hurting businesses, health care, and education.
