Chevron Products Company, a Chevron U.S.A. Inc. division, maker of the Delo brand of technologically advanced engine oils, lubricants and coolants, has launched its Delo Game Changers campaign and Road Trip, which spotlights the transition to the new significantly advanced API CK-4 and FA-4 heavy duty engine oils (HDEO) that were launched last year.
The campaign highlights historical and modern-day innovations that have spurred the industry forward, and features visionaries that have challenged the status quo in their respective industries. The road trip will recognize individuals across the country who are forging innovative paths in the agriculture, trucking and construction industries.
“Ever since World War II, when Chevron created the first compound diesel engine oil to help U.S. submarines stay at sea more than three times longer than they could have with straight mineral oils, Chevron has been an industry game changer,” says Rommel Atienza, Delo North America Brand Manager. “Now with the transition to the latest generation of diesel engine oil, we want to spotlight people who have changed our world for the better.”
With the 120th anniversary of the game-changing invention of the diesel engine this year, Chevron is hitting the road with Lisa Kelly of the History Network’s Ice Road Truckers for a three-month, cross-country trip to get the word out about its game changing HDEO technology – ISOSYN Advanced Technology – the proprietary difference behind the new Delo 400 product line and to meet folks who change the world every day.
