John Deere Spotlights Dual Product Capabilities For Hagie Sprayers

Demand has grown with applicators wanting to apply nitrogen with the same pass as a fungicide or insecticide and now John Deere is offering the Hagie Dual Product System (DPS) as a factory option. ( Margy Eckelkamp )

Hagie Manufacturing (of which John Deere acquired a majority stake in 2016) has built dual-product application machines in its custom shop for years. Demand has grown with applicators wanting to apply nitrogen with the same pass as a fungicide or insecticide and now John Deere is offering the Hagie Dual Product System (DPS) as a factory option.

DPS is available on 1,200 gal. and 1,600 gal. machines. On the 1,600 gal. sprayer, the split is 1000/600 gal.

As described by Newt Lingenfelter with Hagie, operators are looking to take advantage of every sprayer pass and be able to apply two completely different products. He also explains that users can flip a valve and switch to a single-product application.
