It is crucial for ARA members and the entire agricultural industry to express support for the interim registration review decision by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that glyphosate is a safe and important herbicide.
Send comments by Tuesday, Sept. 3 urging EPA to continue it's science-based evaluation of glyphosate's importance to the agricultural retail-distribution industry and their farmer customers. To make your comments more compelling, add a personal message describing how beneficial glyphosate is to your business and farmer customers.
Glyphosate is one of the most widely used herbicides and maximizes crop yield by regulating plant growth and managing weed control. After adopting glyphosate-based herbicides, farmers were able to successfully practice conservation tillage to reduce soil disturbance and equipment usage. Previous attempts to utilize conservation tillage often failed due to inadequate weed control.
