Conaway: $868B House Farm Bill Could Head to Floor Mid-May

Congress is on recess this week, but Chairman Mike Conaway of the House Agricultural Committee says he expects the farm bill to be ready for the floor of the House by mid-May.

On AgriTalk Thursday, Rep. Conaway (R-Texas) spoke to host Chip Flory exclusively about the bill. The same day, the Congressional Budget Office released its latest analysis of the house farm bill, putting the price tag at $868 billion.
