Manhattan, Kan.-based AIB International has launched the Hazard Analysis and Risk-based Preventive Controls Online course.
Developed by ImEpik, the course teaches employees the Food Safety Modernization Act's required components for a food safety plan, including hazard analysis, preventive controls, monitoring, verification and validation procedures, developing a recall plan, and good manufacturing practices.. The lessons also address food defense, Foreign Supplier Verification Program, and creating a food safety culture, according to a news release.
"AIB International is proud to partner with ImEpik to provide an engaging learning experience that meets this critical industry demand for food safety team members in FDA-regulated plants," said Anthony Raschke, director of food safety services innovation at AIB, in the release.
The course is part of the Food Safety Modernization Act compliance solutions portfolio. The course is on AIB's online platform, [email protected], according to the release.
