Mosaic announces sale of Thailand business

PLYMOUTH, Minn. -- The Mosaic Company announced today the sale of its Thailand distribution business to I C P Fertilizer Co., Ltd. The sale of this business is another step toward increasing Mosaic's alignment of its global distribution network with its North American production assets.
The transaction will be recorded in the second quarter ended November 30, 2009.
The Mosaic Company is one of the world's leading producers and marketers of concentrated phosphate and potash crop nutrients. Mosaic is a single source provider of phosphate and potash fertilizers and feed ingredients for the global agriculture industry.
