South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was 1 to 6 cents higher.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 14 to 15 cents higher.
US 2 Red Wheat was steady to 1 cent higher.
New Crop Yellow Corn was mixed; 8 cents lower to 2 cents higher.
New Crop Yellow Soybeans were 12 to 18 cents higher.
New Crop US 2 Soft Wheat was 2 to 3 cents lower.
CORN: Country Elevators---6.24 and *5.61 at Kingstree; *5.51 at Lynchburg; 6.70
and *5.81 at Estill; Processors---No Bid at Orangeburg 1; 6.64 at Orangeburg 2;
7.04 at Monetta; 7.09 at Sumter; 6.94 at Cassett.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---11.57 at Anderson; 11.82 at Kingstree;
*11.62 at Lynchburg; 11.47 at Orangeburg 2; 12.21 and *12.15 at Estill;
Processors---12.48 and *12.32 at Kershaw; Export---12.32 at Vance.
WHEAT: Country Elevators--- No Bid at Anderson; *6.40 at Kingstree; *6.39 at
Lynchburg, *6.54 at Estill; Processor---6.44 at Orangeburg 2; 6.94 at Cassatt;
7.00 at Columbia.
