Illinois Grain Prices in Country Elevators
This is Tuesday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Tuesday afternoon, with
soybeans higher and corn and wheat lower. Strong soybean meal values
and good export demand continues to support higher soybean futures.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 5 to 6 cents lower at 7.16-7.34. Soybean bids were 5 to 7 cents
higher at 14.69-14.86.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were
5 cents lower at 7.28-7.47. Soybean bids were 3 to 7 cents higher at
14.92-15.11.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 3 to 5 cents
lower at 7.22-7.54. Soybean bids were 4 to 6 cents higher at 15.01-15.21.
Wheat bids were 5 cents lower at 7.53-7.73.
