Illinois Grain Prices in Country Elevators

This is Tuesday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were higher on Tuesday. Wheat values again
were supported by the low crop condition ratings for the US wheat crop.
Problems with the South American wheat crop also helped to boost prices.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled
corn bids 13 cents higher at 7.40-7.56. Soybean bids were 24 to 29 cents
higher at 14.05-14.31.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were
13 to 18 cents higher at 7.53-7.69. Soybean bids were 24 to 27 cents
higher at 14.31-14.44.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 13 to 17 cents
higher at 7.34-7.80. Soybean bids were 21 to 24 cents higher at 14.45-
14.64. Wheat bids were 23 to 24 cents higher at 8.53-8.69.
