Daily National Grain Market Summary

   Corn came to life late in the session to close higher while soybeans and 
wheat closed lower.  Corn buying interest improves as the day went on as gulf 
and country basis levels are strengthen.  Soybeans had two–sided trade with old 
crop beans lower and new crop beans slightly higher.  Wheat had slight losses 
which benefited from the recent moisture across the plains.  Wheat closed mostly 
2-3 cents lower.  Corn traded 5-8 cents higher.  Soybeans closed 1-4 cents 
lower. 
   Grains inspected for export for week ending March 21, 2013:  Wheat totaled 
20.8 million bushels, dn 3.2 million bushels; corn 17.2 million bushels, up 1.3 
million bushels; sorghum 4.4 million bushels, up 3.9 million bushels and 
soybeans 18.5 million bushels, up 8.5 million bushels compared to a week ago. 
Year to Date:  Wheat totaled 766.8 dn 45.3 million; corn 412.3 dn 510.2 million; 
sorghum 51.6 million up 14.6 million, and soybeans 1193.7 up 209.5 million.  
Crop marketing years begin June 1 for wheat and September 1 for corn, sorghum, 
and soybeans.
