Potash Ridge enters into agreement with Watco

Potash Ridge Corporation announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Watco Companies LLC for activities related to the Build-Own-Operate of a loading facility and short-line rail road to service the Blawn Mountain Project.

Progress reported by ISU’s Nutrient Research Center

Two sets of progress reports are now available online for research projects funded through the Iowa Nutrient Research Center at Iowa State University.

One set is the first quarterly reports for projects funded for 2014-2015. The other is year-end reports for 10 projects funded for 2013-2014.

Depending on the crop you are planting, recommended liming requirements are intended to adjust the soil pH, so that availability of macronutrients such as Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) are optimized.

New data suggest resilience of the planet is now at risk

Almost half of the processes that are crucial to maintaining the stability of the planet have become dangerously compromised by human activity. That is the view of an international team of 18 researchers who provide new evidence of significant changes in four of the nine systems which regulate the resilience of the Earth. One of the systems which has been seriously affected is the nitrogen-phosphorus cycle.
