South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was 8 to 9 cents higher.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 6 to 7 cents higher.
US 2 Red Wheat had too few bids to trend.
New Crop US 2 Yellow Corn was 6 to 7 cents higher.
New Crop US 1 Yellow Soybeans had too few bids to trend.
New Crop US 2 Red Wheat was mixed; 16 cents lower to 8 cents higher.
CORN: Country Elevators---7.09 and *5.70 at Kingstree; *5.93 at Lynchburg; 7.49
and *6.14 at Estill; Processors---7.49 at Orangeburg 2; 8.30 at Monetta; 8.17
and *6.33 at Sumter; 7.89 at Cassett.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---13.72 at Anderson; 13.47 at Kingstree; 13.83 at
Lynchburg; 13.58 at Orangeburg 2; 14.18 and *12.80 at Estill; Processors---14.48
at Kershaw; Export---No bid at Mt. Pleasant.
WHEAT: Country Elevators---*7.42 at Anderson; 7.09 at Kingstree; *6.72 at
Lynchburg; 6.79 and *7.18 at Estill; Processors---No Bid at Orangeburg 2; *7.60
at Sumter; 7.75 at Columbia.
