South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was 11 to 13 cents lower.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 3 to 4 cents higher.
US 2 Red Wheat was steady to 13 cents lower.
New Crop Yellow Corn was 4 to 5 cents lower.
New Crop Yellow Soybeans were steady.
New Crop US 2 Soft Wheat was 7 to 8 cents lower.
CORN: Country Elevators---6.10 and *5.44 at Kingstree; *5.33 at Lynchburg; 6.55
and *5.74 at Estill; Processors---No Bid at Orangeburg 1; 6.49 at Orangeburg 2;
7.00 at Monetta; 6.94 at Sumter; 6.79 at Cassett.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---11.96 at Anderson; 12.31 at Kingstree;
*11.87 at Lynchburg; 11.86 at Orangeburg 2; 12.61 and *12.42 at Estill;
Processors---12.86 and *12.57 at Kershaw; Export---12.76 at Vance.
WHEAT: Country Elevators--- No Bid at Anderson; *6.02 at Kingstree; *6.01 at
Lynchburg, *6.17 at Estill; Processor---6.29 at Orangeburg 2; 6.79 at Cassatt;
