Portland Weekly Grain Review Part 2
Pacific Northwest Add Weekly Grain Summary

   Cash Soft White Wheat - Pacific Northwest:  Bids for US 1 Soft White 
Wheat, delivered by unit trains and barges to Portland during October 
ended the reporting week on Thursday, October 17, at 7.29-7.31, mostly 
7.30.  Bids had no recent price comparison available.  White club wheat 
premiums for this week ranged from 40 to 50 cents per bushel, mostly 
45*** cents.  One year ago bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat and white 
club wheat for October delivery were 8.65-8.7125, mostly 8.6825.  New 
confirmed export sales of white wheat this week were limited to Japan.  
Forward month bids for soft white wheat were as follows:  November and 
December 7.32-7.36, January 7.35-7.41, and February 7.35-7.46.  One 
year ago, forward month bids for soft white wheat were as follows:  
November 8.70-8.8125, December 8.75-8.90, January and February 8.80-
8.9375.

   Outstanding U.S. white wheat export sales as of October 10, 2013 for 
the marketing year beginning June 1, 2013 and ending May 31, 2014, were 
not available.

   Outstanding U.S. barley export sales as of October 10, 2013 for the 
marketing year beginning June 1, 2013 and ending May 31, 2014, were not 
available.
 
   Coarse feeding grains:  Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to 
Portland in single rail cars were not available.  Bids for US 2 Yellow 
Corn truck delivered to the inland feeding areas of Yakima, Washington, 
and Hermiston, Oregon were also not available.  Bids for US 2 Heavy 
White Oats for October delivery were 255.00, steady with last report's 
noon bids.
