Illinois Grain Prices in Country Elevators
This is Wednesday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Wednesday. Lower outside
markets pressured soybean values. Wheat found support from an unfavorable
weather forecast for the Great Plains.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled
corn bids mixed at 7.40-7.57. Soybean bids were 3 to 4 cents lower at
14.08-14.28.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were
mostly steady at 7.54-7.69. Soybean bids were 3 to 5 cents lower at
14.26-14.41.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly unchanged
at 7.34-7.80. Soybean bids were 3 to 5 cents lower at 14.41-14.61. Wheat
bids were 3 to 5 cents higher at 8.56-8.71.
