Illinois Grain Prices in Country Elevators

This is Wednesday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the 
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
  
Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Wednesday, with corn and 
soybeans lower and wheat slightly higher. Technical buying at the Board 
of Trade pressured corn and soybean values ahead of the holiday.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled 
corn bids 2 cents lower at 7.21-7.39. Soybean bids were mostly 4 to 5
cents lower at 13.73-13.91.
 
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 
mostly 2 to 6 cents lower at 7.29-7.50. Soybean bids were 5 cents lower 
at 13.93-14.03. 

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly 2 to 4 
cents lower at 7.13-7.57. Soybean bids were 5 to 11 cents lower at 13.95-
14.23. Wheat bids were steady to 4 cents higher at 8.29-8.40.  

Commercial grain prices paid farmers by Interior Illinois Country 
Elevators after 2.00 p.m. today are listed below in dollars per bushel:
