Illinois Grain Prices in Country Elevators

This is Thursday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the USDA 
and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
  
Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Thursday, with corn and soybean 
futures lower and wheat higher. Trading activity was slow again today as many 
traders wait for the release of the USDA's reports on Friday morning. Weekly 
export sales figures weighted on grain values as soybeans totaled 6.8 million 
and corn at only 6.2 million bushels.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids 
3 to 6 cents lower at 7.19-7.33. Soybean bids were 9 to 12 cents lower at 14.63-
14.78.
 
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 3 to 5 
cents lower at 7.31-7.48. Soybean bids were 8 to 12 cents lower at 14.78-14.91. 

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 3 to 8 cents lower at 
7.05-7.55. Soybean bids were 11 to 16 cents lower at 14.76-14.99. Wheat bids 
were 10 to 15 cents higher at 8.85-9.03.

Elevators after 2.00 p.m. today are listed below in dollars per bushel:
