Illinois Grain Prices in Country Elevators

This is Monday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the USDA and
the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Monday afternoon with wheat slightly
higher and corn and soybean futures lower. In quiet trading, soybean futures
fell due to technical and speculator selling at the Board of Trade. Though
soybean futures were lower, export inspection figures were very good at 59.4
million bushels.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids mostly 4 to 6 cents lower at 7.13-7.30. Soybean bids were 19 to 24 cents
lower at 14.69-14.84.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were
4 to 5 cents lower at 7.28-7.42. Soybean bids were 20 to 24 cents lower
at 14.85-15.01.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly 4 to 6
cents lower at 7.19-7.55. Soybean bids were 20 to 24 cents lower at
14.82-15.00. Wheat bids were mostly 1 to 2 cents higher at 8.46-8.60.
