Longer spraying days and nights and higher spraying speeds place heavy demands on comfort and easy operation. Hardi introduces the Alpha Evo 4100 with the TWIN air assist boom to handle these demands. The 90’ or 100’ Twin Force booms allow for minimum drift and minimum volume of spray liquid needed to target the weeds. The 1,100-gal. tank capacity makes for less time filling and more time spraying even in sub-optimal conditions. The Alpha is powered by a 245 hp Deutz TDC 6.1L engine and is connected to the four-wheel hydrostatic drive using the EcoDrive management system to give more power flexibility and up to 30 percent reduction in fuel consumption, especially in road transport. The Alpha also features two- or four-wheel steering to allow for tighter turning on narrow headlands or in smaller fields. A spacious “three-pillar design” cab gives the operator an optimized view in all directions.
About Hardi North America
The HARDI idea started in 1957, when Hartvig Jensen established the company. He was a gardener and needed a quality sprayer. After a few years the company expanded horticulturally and invested in large production facilities outside Copenhagen. The HARDI sprayers were soon retailed not only to Danish, but also European farmers, and the company expanded rapidly.
