Ziegler Ag Equipment now has major AGCO equipment sales and service operations in four states—Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa and Wisconsin—with the purchase of Dean Ag Services locations in Maryville and Chillicothe, Mo.

The Missouri locations serve 40 northern Missouri counties and five Kansas counties. Operations will be upgraded to provide additional service and fast parts availability, according to the Ziegler announcement. Ziegler has 21 locations in the three states where it previously has been doing business.

The company is known for selling a wide line of AGCO farm equipment including the RoGator and TerraGator application equipment for farmers, ag retailers and custom applicators.

Founded in 1914, Ziegler is a family-owned company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minn., employing more than 1,450 people. Ziegler takes credit for introducing the first rubber-tracked Challenger tractor in 1987 and is now one of the largest Challenger and Lexion dealers in the country.
