Time is running out to register for the Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) Conference & Expo, Growing a Sustainable Business: What Your Customers, Consumers and the Government Want from Ag Retailers. The ARA conference is the premier event of the year for the agricultural retail and distribution industry. It is scheduled for Nov. 29-Dec. 1, 2011, at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Florida.

The ARA conference program will examine the social, economic and environmental aspects of sustainability from several unique perspectives, including your customers, consumers and the government. A few of the conference keynote speakers include the Director for PepsiCo Agriculture Sustainability Ian Hope-Johnstone, Senior Policy Specialist Jonathan Kaplan with the Natural Resources Defense Council, and Florida Grower Mac Carraway.

The conference also has numerous opportunities for networking including receptions and meal functions in the expanded trade show, and the popular ARAPAC Golf Tournament and Annual Dinner & Auction events. There are also more fun activities planned for spouses including a special brunch, resort tour and a Caribbean cooking demonstration with lunch. New this year, ARA added an Everglades Airboat Tour option on Tuesday morning for non-golfers and a Florida Agricultural Tour on the last day, which includes a visit to one of the region’s largest sugar cane operations.

To help make the most of your time at the conference, ARA is also pleased to offer more time in the schedule to set up meetings with your customers or suppliers. Read more about this year’s conference in the registration brochure and on the ARA website.

ARA encourages all attendees to register online.  Click here to register now!
