Redball, LLC, a manufacturer of agricultural sprayers, tillage and application equipment, has named Mike Snyder as sales and marketing director. The company also has named three key executives to newly created product management posts.

Snyder has extensive sales, marketing and management experience with major agricultural chemical and supply companies. Most recently, he directed sales and marketing efforts for granular insecticides and SmartBox application systems for AMVAC Chemical Corp. During his more than 20 years in the agricultural industry, he also has served as a regional sales representative, a product-line sales manager, market research project manager, insecticide marketing manager and procurement and distribution manager for various companies, including Monsanto Co., FMC and UAP.
The three executives named as product managers include Grant Lien, who will oversee marketing of Redball's new Model 7830 self-propelled sprayer, which was introduced in early 2007. Jack Gerhardt will head Redball's GreenSeeker unit, which markets the optical sensing and variable-rate application technology in the U.S. and Canada. Tony Fath was named product manager for high-clearance trailer sprayers, row-crop application and strip-till systems. Fath also leads the company's customer service and parts units.

Redball manufactures a full line of self-propelled, high-clearance trailer and row-crop sprayers, as well as fertilizer application and strip till equipment. It also is the distributor for GreenSeeker optical sensing and application systems.
