Arysta LifeScience North America LLC credits Pre-Pare Herbicide's unique benefits of residual grass and broadleaf weed burndown control and strong support from the retail network for the back to back sellout of product in 2008. Demand is expected to be strong again in 2009 with Pre-Pare being offered for the first time as part of the Pre-Pare and Everest Early Buyer's Bonus program.

Pre-Pare burndown herbicide sales in the spring wheat market followed by winter wheat acres far exceeding expectations resulted in product inventories being sold out twice. A total of 750,000 acres across North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana received a Pre-Pare pre-seed burndown application in 2008.

"Early weed removal with Pre-Pare saves the nutrients and moisture for the crop to optimize yields in areas of drought," said Patrick Haikal, Herbicide Product Manager with Arysta LifeScience. "The residual burndown control with Pre-Pare when added to glyphosate, gives wheat a jumpstart and buys time between pre-seed burndown and a post-emergent treatment."

Haikal confirms that Pre-Pare supplies will be increased for 2009 in expectation of another surge in demand due to increased grower and retail knowledge of Pre-Pare's unique pre-seed burndown benefits. To learn more about Pre-Pare Burndown Herbicide, click here or call (866) 761-9397 (toll-free).
