The Nutrients for Life Foundation announced the expansion with its FFA Helping Communities Grow chapter recognition program focused on the role fertilizer plays in the production of safe, healthy, nutritious food. Chapters in the states of Florida, Idaho and Iowa can compete for a top prize of at least $6,000 in each state. In total, the Nutrients for Life Foundation will contribute $20,000 to FFA chapters in each state.

"Education is at the core of the Nutrients for Life Foundation, and we are proud to be expanding the Helping Communities Grow chapter recognition program for FFA chapters in Florida, Idaho and Iowa," said Nutrients for Life Foundation Executive Director Harriet Wegmeyer. "Working with educators and FFA students, this program brings fertilizer education and discussion into classrooms and communities across the country."
