A new World Record Soybean Yield was announced by the Missouri Soybean Association 100 Bushel Club this week from Kip Cullers' farm in Stark City, Mo. Missouri Governor Jay Nixon was on hand to offer personal congratulations and to present the award to Cullers.

Kip Cullers has a history of record breaking yields, but this year's 160.6 bu/acre record shattered his old record of 154 bu/acre, set in 2007.

Culler's intensive crop management program for his contest soybeans included products from BASF, StollerUSA and DuPont. DuPont provided its high-yielding Y Series soybean variety, BASF offered its Kixor herbicide technology and Headline fungicide for disease control and StollerUSA Bio-Forge was used as a seed treatment to establish early seedling vigor and enhance root growth.
