Farmers in 179 selected counties with more than 50,000 acres of corn, soybean and/or cotton planted in Iowa, parts of Arkansas and Missouri can enter a sweepstakes to earn $2,500 from Monsanto for their selected charity, public service group.
Plans are to present $2,500 per county depending on whether at least one farmer enters the sweepstakes per county. The deadline for entry is Feb. 28. Monsanto notes that it is recognizing how farmers in these counties care for the land, grow the economy and make lives better.
The entry asks who recommended a farmer enter the sweepstakes, and the answer should be ag retailers, crop consultants or farm managers who are proactive in suggesting their clients enter the sweepstakes. Every farmer in a county will have equal potential to win if they only complete the simple sweepstakes entry form.
