A federal judge last week reversed part of his ruling that DuPont's soybeans that resist Roundup violated a license with Monsanto Company. However, the ruling does not change the fact that DuPont is not allowed to combing its GAT genetics with the Roundup Ready trait.

Monsanto sued DuPont last year to block a plan that would use Monsanto's Roundup Ready trait with DuPont's GAT genetics. The DuPont technology is an alternative way for seeds to survive applications of the Roundup glyphosate herbicide.
