John Deere Agri Services presented its annual Ambassador Awards on Feb.21 during the 2008 Customer Conference held in Las Vegas. The Ambassador Awards program recognizes customers or partners in the industry who go above and beyond in working closely with John Deere Agri Services in various capacities such as product testing programs, product functionality discussions/validations, serving as a reference, and demonstrating use of John Deere Agri Services systems in their business to prospective users. The award recipients typically represent leaders in the agricultural industry who excel in the use of technology systems and have a drive for technological advancements for agribusinesses.

Five companies were recognized as Ambassadors: AgMark LLC and Farmway Co-op Inc. (Beloit, Kan.); Bunge North America (St. Louis); the Country Operations Division of CHS Inc. (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.); and First Cooperative Association (Cherokee, Iowa).

"The Ambassador Awards are one way we recognize the valuable contributions our customers and business partners make in a special way throughout the year," says Ron Leiker, Vice President, Global Marketing, for John Deere Agri Services. "From serving as a reference to serving as a sounding board for product functionality discussions, customers such as AgMark, Farmway, Bunge, CHS, and First Coop exemplify the generosity and commitment to John Deere Agri Services that play a key role in our success in serving the agricultural industry," adds Leiker.
