BASF is introducing Plant Health Month in April to raise awareness of the improved plant health benefits, optimal disease control and increased yields delivered by Headline fungicide.

In addition to educating about the benefits of Plant Health, the month-long campaign also includes Headline gear giveaways and a contest with prizes up for grabs.

"April is an ideal month to talk about the importance of Plant Health benefits because the season is just beginning and growers are working hard to ensure they will achieve maximum yield potential in their crops," said Gary Schmitz, Ph.D., Midwest Regional Technical Manager, North America, BASF Agricultural Products. "Headline offers more than just disease control. It also provides physiological benefits that can help growers get the most out of every acre."

The Headline Storytellers Contest also kicks off as part of Plant Health Month, which includes great prizes, including an all-terrain vehicle and 2010 Commodity Classic registrations. To register for the contest click here.

After registering for the Headline Storytellers Contest, growers can share their success stories by Dec. 1, demonstrating the Plant Health benefits they achieved using Headline in the 2009 growing season.
