MACA annual meeting registration

The Mid America CropLife Association annual meeting in Omaha, Neb., will be held Sept. 4-6.

Registration is open on the association’s website, and hotel reservations are recommended to be made as soon as possible. The meeting is titled “High Stakes in Omaha.” Registrations after Aug. 10 are subject to a late fee.

The meeting/educational sessions are Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 4) and Thursday morning (Sept. 6). Speakers at these sessions include Jim Farrell, AFM, president and CEO, Farmers National Company, who will address the topic “Will the Golden Era of Agriculture Continue?” Chuck Conner, president and CEO, National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, will discuss “Politics & Agriculture.” Ed Lopez, director of marketing , Van Eck Global, will talk about “A Wall Street Perspective of Agriculture.” Jay Lehr, Ph.D., Heartland Institute, will give is view on “The Future of Agriculture.” Matt Gulseth, Channel Financial, will provide information related to “Your Personal Finances.”

The MACA annual meeting is known for a time when companies can have business meetings to discuss the upcoming year. Meeting rooms for these meetings are always a consideration when the annual meeting is booked at a hotel. This year’s meeting is being held at the Hilton Omaha and anyone registering on line or telephone for room reservations should mention the MACA annual meeting or use the group code MLC.
