Green Leaf to distribute Lechler products

Lechler Agricultural Division named Green Leaf, Inc. of Fontanet, Ind., as its exclusive sales and distribution agent for North America, effective April 1st, 2012.

Lechler Ag Division Manager Al Harmon says, "Our spray nozzle and parts inventory are being relocated to Fontanet and our ag product shipments will originate from the Green Leaf facility there." Lechler Ag inventory had been located at the Lechler Inc. North American headquarters in St. Charles, Ill.
Appointing Green Leaf, Inc. as their distribution agency will enable Harmon and others from Lechler Ag to work more intensively with OEM's regarding new product development, with universities and the crop protection product industry. It will also allow increased focus on advanced spraying research using the combined engineering resources in Indiana and Metzingen, Germany.

Green Leaf, Inc. President Pete Goda says, "We've been working with Lechler Ag for nearly five years and their spray nozzles can be found on many private label sprayers being sold through a multitude of retail locations. This distribution agency agreement with Lechler Ag allows our Green Leaf staff members and manufacturer’s reps to call on current and new customers directly with an expanded product line of liquid handling and sprayer parts, and that will increase the amount of product support we are able to offer."
Lechler's Worldwide Agricultural Business Manager Andreas Bahnmueller says, "We're pleased to have strengthened our long-standing working relationship with Green Leaf, Inc. with this new distribution agency relationship. We've already begun working with them to expand Lechler Ag product training and technical support."
