Extreme dryness during December and early January has caused irreversible damage to Argentina’s corn crop. Rainfall during the past two weeks has helped stabilize the crop, but production estimates out this week from several sources, both private and public, point to production from 18 million to 23 million metric tons with the average from 20 million to 21 million. This compares to 22.5 million metric tons a year ago and early estimates for the current crop at 29 million to 30 million.

New Formula Makes VAULT® HP plus INTEGRAL® More Treater-Friendly

VAULT® HP
plus INTEGRAL® soybean seed-treatment system now offers seed treaters even more flexibility and benefits for their 2012 seed treatment programs. For 2012, the VAULT HP plus INTEGRAL system features a new enhancer/extender formulation that helps increase the on-seed survival time of rhizobia when used with the most popular fungicide and insecticide treatments.

Compared to treatments measured last year, the formulation increases the days of on-seed survival by an average 20-plus percent versus the previous formulation.

The new formulation also helps reduce bridging/clumping issues sometimes experienced with seed treatment. Seed bridging or clumping during treatment depends on numerous factors, including the total volume of treatment slurry applied, treatment equipment calibrations, temperature and humidity conditions, and the total volume of seed moving through the treating equipment during a specific time period.

The triple BioStacked® VAULT HP plus INTEGRAL system pairs a patented biological performance enhancer and a fresh high-count rhizobia inoculant with INTEGRAL biological fungicide. These components work together to deliver improved nitrogen fixation; help extend protection from key soil-borne diseases; and enhance root vigor, nodulation and nutrient uptake.

An industry-leading ultra-low application rate of 2.0 fl oz/CWT of seed, fresh high counts of rhizobia and improved treater-friendly application make VAULT HP plus INTEGRAL the right choice for every soybean grower ... and a profitable business choice for soybean treaters this treatment season.

Learn more about the VAULT HP plus INTEGRAL soybean seed treatment and its performance at www.VAULTHP.com or call 1-800-892-2013.
