The Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) and Regulatory Consultants Inc. are pleased to announce the availability of a new, online Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans (SPCC) program. This program helps ag retailers and distributors comply with Clean Water Act regulations.

"ARA is pleased to offer this service to both members and nonmembers to ensure compliance with SPCC regulations," said Jack Eberspacher, ARA president and CEO. "User-friendly programs, such as this one provided by RCI, not only provide guidance in the implementation of facility SPCC plans, but saves retailers time and money in the process."

RCI has more than 700 SPCC plans in use across the United States. ARA recommends that ag retailers and distributors take preliminary steps to assess the various SPCC regulations that apply to their respective businesses, and follow through with a plan implementation to ensure compliance.

The ARA/RCI SPCC program is available to both ARA members and nonmembers for a nominal fee. To learn more, contact Jim Thrift, ARA vice president of regulatory affairs and corporate relations, at (202) 457-0825 or RCI at (515) 275-3119.
