The report was delayed one day due to the President's Day holiday on Monday. Corn sales totaled 33 million bushels of old-crop and 3.6 million of new-crop. Commitments were at the low end of trade expectations, but were still above the pace needed to reach USDA's export projection. Marketing year-to-date sales of 1,491.6 million bushels are 19.7 percent ahead of last year. Soybean sales of 24.8 million bushels were above pre-report estimates and over three times the pace needed to reach USDA's export forecast. Year-to-date sales of 907.3 million bushels are 28.4 percent above last year. Wheat sales of 16.6 million bushels of old-crop and 0.9 million bushels of new-crop were at the low end of trade expectations, but still above the pace needed to reach the export forecast by the USDA. Commitments so far this marketing year of 738.4 million bushels are 12.8 percent below a year-ago.
