According to the USDA’s latest Crop Progress report, the last of the 2015 season, corn harvsting is now at 93 percent complete, compared to 78 percent last year and the five-year average of 88 percent.

Harvest progress from last week’s report was notable for Colorado (69 percent), Michigan (79 percent), Nebraska (87 percent), South Dakota (89 percent) and Wisconsin (15 percent).

For the most part, however, the majority states are winding down corn harvest. Currently 11 of the top 18 corn-producing states are within 10 percentage points of finishing.
