The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is announcing an extension of deregulation to a line of genetically engineered (GE) potato developed by J.R. Simplot Company for low acrylamide potential, reduced black spot bruising, and lowered reducing sugars.
