USB February Meeting to Focus on the Future
To continue to oversee the soybean checkoff and increase profit opportunities for all U.S. soybean farmers, the United Soybean Board (USB) will hold its February board meeting in Tampa, Fla.
Farmer-directors will work on the drafting of a new long-range strategic plan and a planned assessment of the organization, two of the USB’s 2011 priorities.
USB leaders will also deliver an overview on partnerships with other organizations that help maximize the use of checkoff funds to support projects that benefit U.S. soybean farmers. In addition, the board will begin to set the preliminary FY2012 budget.
