Pork producers from across the country honored outgoing Deputy Agriculture Secretary Jim Moseley at the National Pork Industry Forum held March 3-5, 2005, in Orlando, Fla.

In a resolution passed before the delegate body at Forum, pork producers gave Moseley a standing ovation and thanked the Clarks Hill, Ind., pork producer for "his years of service and leadership and for his dedication to ensuring that U.S. pork producers continue to maintain their commitment to issues related to environmental stewardship and food security preparedness."

National Pork Producers Council president Don Buhl, a pork producer from Tyler, Minn., said Moseley has played a key role in developing public policy for agriculture, the environment and natural resources conservation at both the state and national levels. "We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks and fondest best wishes to Jim Moseley, a tireless advocate for America's pork producers," he said. "He has been a true friend to our industry whom we are pleased to honor."
