FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA - Titan Machinery Inc. (NASDAQ:TITN) announced that it has entered into a definitive purchase agreement to acquire certain assets of Fairbanks International Inc. and its affiliates. These dealerships are located in Grand Island, Kearney, Lexington, Holdrege, Hastings, and North Platte, Nebraska. The acquisition is subject to customary conditions to closing and is expected to close on or around December 31, 2010.
Fairbanks International was started by the Fairbanks family in 1910 and it has been selling equipment for over a century.
