New products give farmers more options to manage problems and preserve yield throughout the growing season. Syngenta is introducing 16 new products in 2016 for a variety of crops and purposes.

“It’s the largest number of products to go through the pipeline at once,” says Shawn Potter, Syngenta head of marketing services. “It takes about eight to 10 years to register products.”

They include the following:

You’ll notice some product share one, or multiple, common active ingredients. While the actives might be the same, the way in which they are applied to crops are different. Each crop has different rates, timing, targets and so on. Any time you use a chemical, remember to read the product label so you ensure you're using it correctly.
