INDIANAPOLIS -- RFD-TV will broadcast live coverage of the 79th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis for four days beginning Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 6:30 p.m. (EST) and continuing through the election of the 2006-2007 National FFA Officers on Saturday, Oct. 28. The program will be hosted by Orion Samuelson and Max Armstrong.

RFD-TV will be there to capture all the action as more than 55,000 FFA members, advisors and guests pack Conseco Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers, the Indiana Convention Center, Indiana State Fairgrounds and other sites in downtown Indianapolis. This is the first year that the national FFA convention is being held in Indianapolis, and FFA will continue to meet here for seven years. The 79th National FFA Convention theme is "Blue Jackets, Gold Standards," giving visual imagery to the ideals of the organization as well as the sea of blue jackets that will adorn the Circle City.

The show kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 25, with an inspiring opening session. Motivational speakers, exciting awards, high-energy activities and pageantry are some of the convention highlights. The live coverage will include all sessions and pre-shows, interspersed with live interviews and commentaries.
