Sentera introduces its enhanced, affordable Phoenix fixed-wing drone product line, with variants to support precision agriculture. The complete Phoenix package is priced at $10,990.

The Phoenix drone weights 4 lb. is powered by an oversized motor, and has up to an hour of flight time at 35 mph. This drone can be hand-launched.

The Phoenix feature live digital video for real-time flight monitoring and autopilot for auto-calculating and precise flights and data collection.  

There are three configurations of Phoenix drones, and the Phoenix Pro is designed for precision agriculture and mapping activities.

In addition to enhancing the Phoenix drone, Sentera adds to its small, lightweight Single sensor product family with the High-Precision Single sensor  available in two variants: normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and normalized difference red edge (NDRE). The new High-Precision NDVI Single and High-Precision NDRE Single use patent-pending technology to improve spectral band separation and generate more accurate vegetation index measurements.

The new sensor will make it easier for users to integrate satellite-based index data with drone-based index data. The High Precision filters more closely match the spectral filtering used on most space-based imagers, but retain the same advantages in image resolution compared to satellites.

As with all members of the Single product line, the new sensors integrate onto any drone, helping agronomists, consultants, and producers identify growth issues earlier and with greater precision. The sensors are available pre-installed on DJI Phantom 4, Mavic, and Inspire equipment or as dealer-installed upgrades to customer-owned drones.
