WESTCHESTER, Ill. -- Corn Products International Inc., a global provider of agriculturally derived ingredients for diversified industries, has hired David A. Prichard as director, investor relations.

Prichard bring more than 20 years of senior investor relations and corporate communications experience spanning the agricultural, chemical, health care, industrial and telecommunications sectors. He most recently served as director, investor relations and corporate communications, for Modine Manufacturing Company in Racine, Wis., where he led the global external and internal communications and investor relations programs.

From 1996 to 2004, Prichard was vice president, investor and corporate relations and a member of the senior management team for the former IMC Global Inc., a leading global producer and distributor of crop nutrients based in Lake Forest, Ill. He was vice president, investor and corporate relations, for the former Vigoro Corporation and Equity Group Investments, both of Chicago, from 1994-96. He previously held senior investor relations and corporate communications positions with Mallinckrodt Group Inc. (formerly International Minerals & Chemical Corporation) and Abbott Laboratories.

Prichard holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and has completed "The Theory and Practice of Investor Relations" at the University of Michigan School of Business.
