Leadership of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) is pleased to announce the addition of four new veal packer investors. The four companies have agreed to participate in a voluntary packer investment program to help fund veal marketing and research activities.

The four veal packers are: Berry Veal Corporation, Boynton Beach, Fla.; Catelli Brothers, Collingswood, N.J.; Rosen Lamb and Veal, Bronx, N.Y.; Delft Blue, New York Mills, N.Y. These packers are contributing a total of $12,000, which is targeted to support a veal muscle profiling study as well as a veal scholarship program at the Culinary Institute of America.

Muscle profiling is an important research effort designed to help drive increased demand for veal. It is one of the product research and development efforts coordinated by the NCBA.
