Pinnacle Operating Corporation (“Pinnacle”) announced today that Kenny Cordell will be stepping down from his role as President and Chief Executive Officer in the coming months. After the transition is complete, Mr. Cordell will continue to work closely with Pinnacle’s board of directors and the rest of the company’s leadership team as a member of the board of directors. In addition, Mr. Cordell will continue to serve as President and CEO until a successor has been named.

During Mr. Cordell’s tenure, Pinnacle experienced significant growth, diversifying the company’s geographic footprint to become one of the largest U.S. national distributors today. Under Mr. Cordell’s leadership, Pinnacle has also developed a strong relationship with the company’s expanding customer base, serving as a trusted and value-added partner for farmers across the United States.

“I am extremely proud of what Pinnacle has accomplished since its inception and am excited to be part of the company’s next phase of growth as a member of Pinnacle’s board,” Mr. Cordell said in a statement. “I have had the privilege of working alongside an extraordinarily talented and motivated employee base at Pinnacle and I have no doubt in Pinnacle’s ability to continue to serve as a true partner to the farming community in the U.S.”

Pinnacle’s board of directors also issued a statement, adding: “Kenny has been an integral part of building out the Pinnacle platform and creating what is today a best in class agricultural input distribution business in the United States. On behalf of the broader Pinnacle community, we would like to thank Kenny for his immense contributions to Pinnacle since its formation. Kenny’s knowledge, vision and experience have been an invaluable asset for Pinnacle’s employees, customers and investors and we look forward to Kenny’s continued leadership on the Pinnacle board.”
