One of the most challenging aspects of being an agricultural professional today is keeping up with government policies and regulations. If those are topics you want to keep abreast of, plan to attend the AgPro Retailer Day on August 1.

Richard Gupton, Senior Vice President, Public Policy & Counsel for the Agricultural Retailers Association, will give a formal presentation on the topic during this special, day-long event and will also be available to answer your questions one-on-one.

Gupton represents the ag retailers’ and distributors’ interests before the legislative and executive branches of government, working to ensure that important ag retail-distribution issues receive fair consideration on Capitol Hill. He also manages ARAPAC, the association’s political action committee.

Along with Gupton, this event features agronomic training from Farm Journal Field Agronomist Ken Ferrie, and a presentation on applicator safety by Purdue University’s Fred Whitford.

You can sign up for AgPro Retailer Day now. Early-bird registration between now and July 15 is only $175 That includes all materials, meals and the opportunity to sign up for 5 CECs. Click here for more information on the agenda and directions to register.
